Associate Attorney – Transactional Law (Full-Time or Part-Time)

What You'll Do:
• Work closely with experienced attorneys to provide legal counsel to clients.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds, wills, trusts, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of issues.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date client files, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Build and nurture client relationships through excellent communication and service.

• Completion of law school and successful passage of the state bar exam.
• Strong interest or experience in real estate and/or estate planning law.

Responsibilities:
• Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
• Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
• Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
• Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
• Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
• Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
• Candidates must have passed the bar exam
• Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
• Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
