POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Treasurer and Controller with internal and external financial reporting, annual budget, liquidity forecasts, and internal accounting and financial reporting controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with management reporting and perform ad hoc analysis.
• Assist with monthly analysis of purchased loan pools and purchase loan accounting.
• Assist with the SBA 7(a) loan sale and reporting process.
• Assist with the monthly financial close, including accounting for purchased loans, preparation of the Board financials, as well as preparation of the monthly board package.
• Assist with the review of proposed loan modifications for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Assist with the preparation of liquidity monitoring reports, including weekly Liquidity Snapshot.
• Assist with the maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting and assist in SOX 404 compliance.
• Assist with the organization of external and internal audits, including compiling requests for the internal and external auditors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of accounting and business principles
• High school degree required with current enrollment in college courses

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS:

• Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to work unpredictable hours
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
